HelloSkills is the skill-sharing platform built for the social world. It lets anyone—from everyday experts to public figures—share insights through short-form, personalized video. Ask a question, get a response made just for you. It's fast, human, and on your terms.
SkillExperts are creators, coaches, professionals, and people with something valuable to share. Some have large followings, others are trusted in niche communities. Every SkillExpert sets their own prices and chooses when and how to respond.
Followers
Find your SkillExpert by clicking their unique HelloSkills link. Ask your question, submit payment, and wait for a short-form video made just for you.
- If the SkillExpert responds, they receive payment and you receive your personalized video.
- If the SkillExpert doesn't respond, you aren't charged.
Search by clicking on a SkillExpert's unique link. Can't find who you're looking for? From your Follower dashboard, tell us who you follow and what you want to learn—we'll notify you if and when they join.
Click the SkillExpert's link, submit your question and payment, and wait for your personalized response.
Each SkillExpert sets their own price. You'll always see the cost before submitting. HelloSkills charges a small platform fee and uses Stripe for secure payments.
Each SkillExpert sets an expected response time. If they don't respond within that window, the request cancels automatically and you are not charged.
If your request is declined, the payment hold is released and you aren't charged.
Transactions are non-refundable. But you'll always rate the response – ratings help SkillExperts improve and guide other followers. In some cases, SkillExperts may choose to provide a free bonus video. If the response violates our standards, you can flag it.
Yes. You can submit a new question anytime, as long as the SkillExpert's CUE is open and available.
All communication happens within HelloSkills. You can't contact SkillExperts directly outside the platform, but you can always submit another request.
Ask something clear, specific, and relevant to what the SkillExpert is known for sharing with their audience.
Skillexperts
Request early access or accept an invite. Once approved, you'll create your profile, set your fee, and activate your CUE to begin responding to requests.
You control your pricing—anywhere from free to $1,000+. HelloSkills charges a small fee and handles payments securely.
You're never obligated to respond. Declining cancels the request, releases the payment, and you won't be paid.
You always have the right to decline, block, or report any request. Your safety and comfort come first.
Yes. HelloSkills can complement your existing services by letting you deliver quick insights and build trust with your audience.
Policies & Safety
If your request isn't answered within the stated time, your payment hold is released automatically. Refunds for completed responses are rare and only granted if the content clearly violates platform standards.
SkillExperts can decline, block, or report any request. Followers can also report inappropriate responses. Both are reviewed promptly by our moderation team.
Every video and message has a report option. Reports are reviewed promptly and may lead to warnings, removal of content, suspension, or referral to authorities.
We use a combination of AI-assisted tools and human review to detect and remove violations such as harassment, hate speech, or spam.

Yes. SkillExperts have full control over who they engage with. You can block users at any time without explanation.
Videos are stored for your viewing and record-keeping but are not guaranteed to be available indefinitely. Retention periods are defined in our Privacy Policy.
